Research audiometer

Audiometry for scientific research: AURITEC’s AT-research system enables customised measurement set-ups and the controlled playback of different signals across multiple channels.

Clinical audiometry as a solution in hearing diagnostics

Flexible measurement set-ups
for your hearing research

Scientific research places particular demands on signal reproduction, transducers and measurement set-ups. AT-research offers a flexible selection and combination of sound transducers, as well as a clear visualisation of the measurement set-up.

Multichannel audiometry allows different signals and levels to be reproduced from various directions – tailored to your studies and research objectives. Develop your own speech tests using open-source audiometry. The hardware authorisation function enables you to access your development programmes.

Frequently asked questions about research audiometers

Answers regarding test set-ups, multi-channel audiometry and planning your equipment.

The ATresearch was developed for audiological research. It enables customised measurement set-ups for studies requiring different signals, levels, transducers or sound directions.

Eight free-field channels allow different signals to be played back simultaneously at different levels from different directions. With an additional surround module, the system can be expanded to 16 free-field channels.

The ATresearch is equipped with an implant output for examinations of people with cochlear implants. The appropriate connection and compatibility with the implant system used should be confirmed in advance.

Yes. The AT2000 features an implant output for direct signal transmission to a compatible CI processor. This allows measurements to be taken regardless of the room acoustics. The appropriate connection should be selected to suit the implant system in use.
