FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the AURITEC Specials

Answers regarding functions, applications and integration into your audiology practice.

ERKI enables the automated assessment of directional hearing. Real and virtual sound sources generate auditory stimuli from different directions. The test measures how accurately these directions are detected.

The implant interface transmits audiometric signals directly to a compatible CI processor – via a cable or a suitable streamer. This helps to minimise the effects of room acoustics. The connection and calibration must be tailored to the specific processor.

It enables different signals to be output simultaneously via several transducers. For example, speech and background noise can be played back through loudspeakers, whilst an earpiece outputs a separate masking signal. This expands the possibilities for complex audiological examinations.

This depends on the audiometer, the equipment available and the planned test setup. For ERKI, a suitable speaker arrangement and control system are required. For implant connectivity and multi-channel audiometry, the available connections and system functions must be checked. We will discuss with you which integration or expansion options are possible.
