Clinical audiometry
Fitting of hearing aids
Audiometric measurements made possible by direct control of cochlear implants: reduced influence from room acoustics, greater comfort for patients and optimised workflows.
THE IMPLANT CONNECTION IN DETAIL
The AURITEC audiometry platform allows hearing implants to be controlled directly via a dedicated hardware output. This offers advantages such as the complete elimination of the need for anaesthesia and occlusion in SSD patients, or the reduction of interference from room acoustics. Control is achieved either directly via
a cable or via a streamer using Bluetooth.

Direct audiometry via the implant connector: clinics, CI centres, CI audiologists or CI manufacturers. Thanks to the convenient measurement process, the system is particularly suitable for use with children.
Control is either via a direct cable connection or via a Bluetooth streamer.
The AT2000 and AT800 audiometers currently feature a dedicated line-out for direct control of cochlear implants from two manufacturers (Medel and Cochlear). Depending on the system used, the signal can be transmitted via cable or via a suitable streamer. This helps to minimise the effects of room acoustics and facilitates examinations for patients with SSD. Further developments are underway and can be discussed with AURITEC.
The range of services on offer includes tone and speech audiometry, as well as multi-channel audiometry. The Oldenburg speech tests, which can be carried out using four channels, are also available.
