Applications

Audiometry for universities

Audiometric equipment for research, teaching and clinical examinations: AURITEC offers systems and test procedures that enable you to assess hearing ability, speech comprehension and spatial hearing, and to teach audiological methods.

A workplace for academic and practical tasks

Universities conduct research into, teach and apply audiological techniques. Depending on the department, the focus may be on experimental studies, practical teaching modules or examinations in a clinical setting. The equipment must be suited to these tasks and the respective measurement conditions.

The AT-research system enables customised research set-ups. The AT2000 complements the range of options for clinical examinations and the practical teaching of audiometric procedures. Speech tests, solutions for child-friendly examinations and specialised measurement functions broaden the scope – tailored to your research questions, teaching content and patient groups.

Frequently asked questions about audiometry at universities

Solutions for research, teaching and clinical applications.

This depends on the tasks to be carried out. The AT-research is available for individual experimental measurement set-ups. The AT2000 offers a wide range of options for clinical audiometric examinations. Test procedures, transducers and supplementary equipment are selected to suit your research and teaching requirements.

At a suitably equipped workstation, students can familiarise themselves with test set-ups, examination procedures and the interpretation of audiometric results. The procedures that can be taught in practice depend on the system, the available test licences and the equipment.

Shared use may be possible if the system configuration, calibration and test conditions are suitable for both tasks. Experimental measurement set-ups and clinical procedures must be verified in each case and documented in a verifiable manner.

It would be helpful to provide details of research projects, teaching content and planned clinical trials. In addition, we require an overview of the existing equipment, the required testing procedures and transducers, as well as information on premises and planned extensions.
