When AURITEC Medizindiagnostische Systeme GmbH was founded on 1 April 1994, it was by no means a newcomer entering the audiology market. In fact, AURITEC had emerged from its two predecessor companies, Philips Medizintechnik GmbH and Dorn GmbH. The expertise within the company was built on a tradition stretching back decades. With the development and sale of the first PC-controlled audiometers, the AURITEC brand soon became well known in German medical practices and clinics. Since then, AURITEC has established itself as the expert in PC-controlled paediatric audiometry and is recognised as the market leader in this segment.
