Hearing tests for children require a procedure that takes into account their stage of development, attention span and willingness to cooperate. The Lookybox provides visual stimuli in the form of illuminated, moving soft toys. The VRA Viewer displays images and videos on screens. The remote control allows compatible audiometry equipment to be operated directly from the seat next to the child.

In visual conditioning, a response to an auditory stimulus is rewarded with a visual stimulus. Moving soft toys, pictures or videos, for example, can be used for this purpose. The aim is to encourage the child to cooperate during the hearing test.
The Lookybox uses illuminated, moving soft toys inside a box. The VRA Viewer is a piece of software that displays images and videos on screens. Which option is most suitable depends on the child, the examination procedure and the equipment available.
The remote control allows you to operate a compatible audiometry system and its conditioning tools whilst sitting next to the child. It can be operated with one hand and allows for direct contact during the examination.
The Lookybox can be used to complement a paediatric audiometry system. The VRA Viewer is designed for use with standard PC-controlled audiometers. Compatibility with the specific system must be checked when using the remote control. We will coordinate the specific connection with you.
