Key facts about the VRA Viewer at a glance

Here you will find answers regarding the VRA Viewer’s areas of application, functions, expansion options and technical requirements.

The VRA Viewer is a system designed to engage children during pure-tone and speech audiometry. Images are displayed on two TFT monitors positioned on either side of the child’s table. The display of images supports the examination by helping to capture the children’s attention and encourage their cooperation.

The VRA Viewer is designed for professionals who carry out tone and speech audiometry on children in schools, paediatric audiology centres and paediatric audiology clinics. The system has been specially developed to be child-friendly and can be used with standard audiometers, in particular the AT2000 paediatric audiometry system.

The VRA Viewer can be used to display the Mainz conditioning images and AURITEC videos contained in the system. In addition, users can compile as many of their own images and video lists as they wish. Common image formats such as BMP and JPG, as well as MPEG videos, are supported.

Yes, both systems operate independently of one another. The Lookybox is aimed at younger children, whilst the VRA Viewer is suitable for children aged 2 and over.
