The creation of the AURITEC Medizindiagnostische Systeme GmbH in 1994 was not really a creation. In fact AURITEC had already an excellent reputation thanks to the both predecessor companies Philips Medizintechnik GmbH and Dorn GmbH. Therefore the know how inside the company was already traditional in the world of audiology. With the development and the sale of the first computer aided audiometer, the brand AURITEC has was settled in hospitals and private practices.
