History of AURITEC

AURITEC was founded on April, 1st 1994 in Hamburg. With the two predecessor companies Philips Medizintechnik GmbH and Dorn GmbH AURITEC has a knowledge and experience of about 40 years. We have always developed and produced in Germany and distributed our own and other products by ourselves. 

The first PC-driven audiometers were built by AURITEC and in the German market, and there was constant development ever since. AURITEC is the expert in computer-controlled children audiometry. We are market leader in clinical audiometry in Germany.

In collaboration with leading German ENT clinics AURITEC processed the feedback from those clinics, new developments and proposals for improvement in its products. Our audiometers are designed so that they can be upgraded at any time. If changes to the legal or diagnostic requirements are occuring, you can be sure that you can continue to use your purchased AURITEC audiometer. That is exactly the reason why we have been the technological leader in Germany for many years.

In addition to the clinical developed for ENT audiometers, we also develop tympanometers and integrate a variety of different testing procedures in the different devices. Since 2005 AURITEC has developed a product line for hearing aid fitting, which achieves the same quality level of our products as for the ENT.

Since 2009 AURITEC exported to european countries, for example to  Switzerland and to Turkey, Portugal, Spain and also to Austria, Scandinavia and Benelux.

Mr. Werner Ott was from 1994 to 2007 managing director and sales director and he is still helping the company with his advise.
Since 2007 Mr. Jan Mody is president.
